A Poem Film for National Poetry Day: Carry Me Away, by Matt Goodfellow

In 2015 the theme for National Poetry Day was light; and I produced, and Peter, my husband, filmed and edited, about 14 films of specially written light poems. They were read by people whose jobs had an association with light.

The theme for this year’s National Poetry Day (September 28th) is Freedom. I thought I’d share this film from 2015 as the poem also fits the theme for this year – Freedom.

Carry Me Away, by Matt Goodfellow. Matt’s excellent book, of the same title, is available here.

Ewan Dunford, Projectionist, Watershed, reads Matt’s poem.

Filmed on location at Watershed, Harbourside, Bristol
